Softball Flex Line-Up

Note: This is the 'traditional' PSL lineup teams are used to using and occurs when there are too many men and not enough women.

If you identify as nonbinary/genderqueer/prefer not to answer we ask that you please bat in any spot deemed ‘man or non-binary player’
and leave the spots deemed for ‘women’ for the players whose gender identity is female/woman. Please know that we are striving to create
an inclusive environment and recognize that this is not perfect.  We promise to continue to investigate better ways to communicate
and offer the best league possible for everyone. If you have any suggestions, we would love to hear them so please email Jaime@pump.org

Let's say the team has 8 men and only 3 women
Teams cannot use the rotating lineup with less than 3 women
In the lineup below, men/nonbinary 7 and 8 will share spots with men/nonbinary 2 and 3

Inning 1   Inning 2   Inning 3   Inning 4
Man/Nonbinary 1   Man/Nonbinary 1   Man/Nonbinary 1   Man/Nonbinary 1
Man/Nonbinary 2   Man/Nonbinary 7*   Man/Nonbinary 2   Man/Nonbinary 7
Woman 1   Woman 1   Woman 1   Woman 1
Man/Nonbinary 3   Man/Nonbinary 8*   Man/Nonbinary 3   Man/Nonbinary 8
Man/Nonbinary 4   Man/Nonbinary 4   Man/Nonbinary 4   Man/Nonbinary 4
Woman 2   Woman 2   Woman 2   Woman 2
Man/Nonbinary 5   Man/Nonbinary 5   Man/Nonbinary 5   Man/Nonbinary 5
Man/Nonbinary 6   Man/Nonbinary 6   Man/Nonbinary 6   Man/Nonbinary 6
Woman 3   Woman 3   Woman 3   Woman 3

**Man/Nonbinary 7 and 8 must share a spot with another man/nonbinary in the batting order. It does not matter which batter they share the spot with;
only that they share the spot with the same batter throughout the game
Essentially man/nonbinary 2, 3, 7 and 8 will only bat every other time their 'spot' comes up in the order, since they have to share a spot
