Join PSL for our eighth night of Wednesday Pickup Volleyball!
When: Wednesday, February 18th from 7pm-9pm
Where: Magee Rec Center, 745 Greenfield Avenue
What you can expect: Players can expect to show up and be placed on random teams to play. If you’d like to be on the same team as a friend, email meghan@pump.org. The event monitor will set up the court, assign teams, and oversee the games. A formal score will not be kept and we will rotate people and teams around so there is plenty of playing time for everyone. We will aim to play anywhere between 4 and 6 people on a side at once depending on registration numbers. Play will be based from our regular PSL volleyball rules, which you can find linked below.

The PSL is so excited to partner with the Pittsburgh Curling Club to bring you a fun and unique opportunity to learn the game of curling - one of the most iconic Winter Olympics sports - throughout three sessions!
When: February 20th, February 27th, and March 6th from 8:30pm-10:30pm
Where: Pittsburgh Curling Club, 491 McCoy Rd. McKees Rocks, PA 15136
What you can expect: Players can expect to show up and learn how to curl! This three-part course includes both on and off ice instruction. In the first two sessions, participants will learn the basics of sliding, stone delivery, sweeping, basic strategy/terms, team positions, curling etiquette, broom stacking, and instructed game scenarios. Session three is a complete game played with experienced instructors and club members to provide a full game experience.
No prior curling experience is needed to take this class. All equipment is provided.
Cost: The cost of the event is $125 and includes a three-part learn-to-curl session with all instruction and equipment provided, covering facility use, instructor fees, and league facilitation.
Additional Details:
• The ice and rink are handicapped accessible and the sport is highly adjustable to meet a range of physical disabilities. Anyone 18+ is encouraged to participate.
• All participants must bring a separate, clean pair of tennis shoes to wear on the ice.
• Participants may bring food or snacks and should bring their own water.
• There are filtered water fountains, bathrooms, and changing rooms available.
• Participants should dress in layers. The ice area will be cold, but the clubhouse is heated!

When: Thursday, March 12th at 7:00pm
Where: Steel City Squash, 624 Larimer Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15206
What you can expect: Players can expect to show up and learn how to play squash! Jose, an experienced coach and mentor at Steel City Squash, will be leading the session with gameplay instruction and instructed play, followed by freeplay with the chance to ask questions.
What we will provide: The rental of courts at Steel City Squash and event facilitation. Steel City Squash will provide all equipment, including shoes, goggles, and racquets.
What we expect from you: A sportsmanlike attitude, signing of the PSL waiver, signing of the Steel City Squash waiver, and a payment of $15 to cover court and instructor fees. Please bring your own water bottle.

Come out and learn how to play pickleball with our friends from GAMMA!
When: Thursday, March 19th from 7pm-9pm
Where: Velum Fermentation, 2120 Jane St. Pittsburgh, PA 15203
What you can expect: Players 21+ can expect to show up and learn how to play pickleball! GAMMA will be leading the session with an hour of gameplay instruction and instructed play, followed by freeplay with the chance to ask questions. Immediately following our session, all participants are invited into the taphouse to enjoy a beer.
What we will provide: The rental of courts at Velum, one (1) drink ticket per participant, a PSL t-shirt, and event facilitation. GAMMA will provide all equipment, including pickleballs and paddles.

Calling all pickle and pickleball enthusiasts! Come out and join PSL for our first-ever Pickles and Paddles Pickleball Tournament!
When: Saturday, March 28th at 1:00pm
Where: Velum Fermentation, 2120 Jane St. Pittsburgh, PA 15203
What to expect: Players 21+ can expect a fun, pickle-themed pickleball tournament! There will be two divisions: recreational and competitive. Every team is guaranteed a minimum of four (4) games throughout the tournament. The top 4 teams in each division will move onto the playoffs. Games will be 20 minutes in length and capped at 11 points. Division winners will take home a full case of pickles, thanks to Pittsburgh Pickle Company who will be on site serving pickle chips, pickle martini's, and briney mary's! Cold Friends Kitchen will also be on site with their food truck.
What we will provide: The rental of courts at Velum, one (1) drink ticket per participant, event facilitation, and pickleballs.
What we expect from you: A sportsmanlike attitude and signing of the waiver. Please bring your own paddle, water bottle, and a pair of tennis shoes to change into once you arrive.
Cost: $40 per team
Roster: Teams may roster up to 3 players.

- PSL Spring '26 softball registration will open at 12pm on Thursday, February 19th
- All PSL participants must be 18 years of age or older and PUMP members in good standing
- This softball league is scheduled to run from Wednesday, April 1st to Wednesday, May 6th
- While this league is scheduled to run from Wednesday, April 1st to Wednesday, May 6th, these dates are weather permitting, and rainouts will extend the season past May 6th
- PSL reserves the right to adjust the schedule as necessary, which includes - but is not limited to - running double headers on a date when they were not originally scheduled, extending the season as needed, and changing field locations as needed
- The league fee is $660 and there is a $50 non-refundable deposit due at the time of registration
- Games will be played at 6:30pm, 7:45pm, and 9pm each Wednesday at Gardner Field
- All league players must be rostered on PSL's website to be eligible to participate in this league

- Tennis clinic sessions will take place from 7pm - 8:30pm at the Mellon Tennis Bubble
- No food or drinks - outside of water - are permitted inside the bubble, and participants must wear shoes with white or non-marking soles

- This volleyball league is scheduled to run from Wednesday, April 1st to Wednesday, May 20th and will host an intermediate division and a recreational division
- The league fee is $590
- Matches will be played at 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm on Wednesday, April 1st, 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm, and 9:30pm on Wednesday, April 8th and Wednesday, April 15th, and 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm for the remainder of the season
- All league players must be rostered on PSL's website to be eligible to participate in this league
- Teams must have at least eight (8) players on their roster and may have up to 12 players to their roster
- League format is 6 vs 6 with no more than four (4) men on the court at a time
- Teams are guaranteed seven (7) matches in the spring '26 volleyball season

- Our spring bowling playoff tournament is scheduled for Sunday, May 31st
- The league fee is $475
- Matches will take place at 9:00pm at Arsenal Bowl each Thursday
- All league players must be rostered on PSL's website to be eligible to participate in this league
- Teams may have up to four (4) players on their roster and must have at least three (3) players on their roster
- PSL does not allow subs in our bowling leagues
- League format is 4 vs 4 and there are no gender restrictions
