So you want to get your friends together on a weekly basis to have fun, socialize, and get some exercise? Sounds like you need some info on becoming a PSL team captain! PSL team captains are responsible for registering, creating, and managing their team for the season. Sounds overwhelming, but don't panic - we're here to help every step of the way. Below you'll find everything you need to know about being a team captain, and if you still have questions you can always email Ky.
Create an Account
First things first - create an account! All Pittsburgh Sports League participants must be PUMP members, and a PUMP membership costs $20.50 per year; check out our member benefits page by clicking here. After you've created your PUMP account, head over to the PSL login page; you'll use the same email address and password you created your PUMP account with to login.
Player Page
Each time you log into your PSL account, you'll be automatically taken to your Player Page. Your Player Page is the holy grail for team captains and players alike.
Teams: See your current and past teams, manage your current teams, view your team invoices and receipts, and manage your current teams.
Schedule: Shows league schedules for all current teams, and results from previous weeks during the season.
Profile: Update your personal information, add and edit your credit card via My Wallet, and opt-in to text and email alerts.
Gift Cards: Find the codes, amounts, and balances of any gift cards, then redeem them towards any league you choose.
Messages: View internal messages from current and past teams, and start new messages.
Get Registered
To see PSL's upcoming leagues, head over to our league listing page, or check out the sport homepage for the sport(s) you're interested in. The league listing page will show any PSL league, event, activity, or tournament that has a live or upcoming registration. Our sport homepages will provide registration and league information for the upcoming season and have current and upcoming leagues for only that sport listed.
Find the registration date and time for the sport you're interested in and set a calendar reminder. Once registration day rolls around, log into your account a few minutes before registration opens. Each league registration opens at a specific time, once the clock strikes 12 (or whatever time registration opens), click refresh, find the league you want to register for, and click ‘TEAM’.
