The PSL is so excited to partner with the Pittsburgh Curling Club to bring you a fun and unique opportunity to learn the game of curling - one of the most iconic Winter Olympics sports - throughout three sessions!
When: February 20th, February 27th, and March 6th from 8:30pm-10:30pm

What you can expect: Players can expect to show up and learn how to curl! This three-part course includes both on and off ice instruction. In the first two sessions, participants will learn the basics of sliding, stone delivery, sweeping, basic strategy/terms, team positions, curling etiquette, broom stacking, and instructed game scenarios. Session three is a complete game played with experienced instructors and club members to provide a full game experience.
No prior curling experience is needed to take this class. All equipment is provided.
Cost: The cost of the event is $125 and includes a three-part learn-to-curl session with all instruction and equipment provided, covering facility use, instructor fees, and league facilitation.
Additional Details:
• The ice and rink are handicapped accessible and the sport is highly adjustable to meet a range of physical disabilities. Anyone 18+ is encouraged to participate.
• All participants must bring a separate, clean pair of tennis shoes to wear on the ice.
• Participants may bring food or snacks and should bring their own water.
• There are filtered water fountains, bathrooms, and changing rooms available.
• Participants should dress in layers. The ice area will be cold, but the clubhouse is heated!
